CANDLE CARE
At Etzio & Co, each candle is meticulously hand-poured, ensuring utmost care and consistency. We strive for the best quality in every product. To get the most out of your Etzio & Co candle and ensure a lasting burn, kindly follow these care guidelines:
Wick Maintenance: Before lighting, always trim the wick to 5mm to guarantee an even burn and prolong the life of your candle. Untrimmed wicks will cause smoke.
First Burn: When lighting your candle for the first time, let the wax melt to the edges of the vessel before putting it out. This creates a memory for the candle, ensuring a clean, consistent burn.
Burn Duration: Avoid burning your candle for more than 3 hours consecutively. Once the wax diminishes to half the vessel’s height, reduce burn time to 1-hour intervals.
End of Life: Stop using your candle when about 10mm of wax remains.
GENERAL CARE
Safety First: Always supervise a burning candle. Never leave it unattended.
Burning Surface: Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
Handling: Do not move a lit candle. Allow to cool before handling the vessel as it may be hot.
Storage: Candles, especially soy wax ones, are sensitive. Store yours in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fluctuations in temperature.
REUSE YOUR VESSEL
Get creative! Once your candle has served its purpose, cleanse the vessel with hot water and detergent. Now, it’s ready for a new life – perhaps as a planter, makeup brush holder, or whatever your heart desires.
